This must be the most shameful and embarassing revelation in the Messianic movement!
Is it possible that the well known author of the book: Fossilized Customs and other books
is the owner of a rock music/drug paraphernalia store?
When we were initially informed of this, the team assumed there must be some monstrous
case of mistaken identity... Maybe there is two people named Lew White? One that espouses to follow
the Torah of יהוה, and another who owns a well-know 'headshop' in Louisville Kentucky USA.
The search through the internet led us on an unbelievable trip...

The first site we came across seemed to confirm the worst:

Maybe it's an old listing from way back so we continue to the second...

This site informs us that Lew White and his wife Phyllis
(confirmation of the fossilized customs Lew White) were seeking to
sell the Electric Ladyland Store in 2001. this is a shock as Mr. White
claims to have been a Nazarite believer for over twenty years...
Not only that, but the interview reads as follows:
A longtime Bardstown Road business, Electric Ladyland Inc., is up for sale.
Owner Lew White and his partner, Bob Nord, have decided to seek offers
for the businessthey started together 22 years ago.
The asking price is eight times the store's 2000 income, White said.
White said he and Nord, both 51, weren't willing to disclose a more specific figure.
The store's revenue last year was $940,000, according to White,
and he said income has been growing by 3 percent a year.
White's wife, Phyllis White, an agent with Century 21 Joe Guy Hagan Realtors, is handling inquiries.
White said he and Nord have developed other interests they'd like to pursue.
White said his main focus is a health foods cafe and store he's working on in Jeffersontown.
The Strawberry Islands Cybercafe and Gallery, in which White is partnering with his wife,
is being built at 2303 Watterson Trail. White expects it to open sometime later this year.
Nord declined to be interviewed and referred all questions to White.
Electric Ladyland, named after a Jimi Hendrix album, specializes in music from the '60s and '70s,
and carries it in the form of LPs, tapes and compact discs. The store also carries incense items,
cotton clothing from India, posters, wizard- and fairy-themed collectibles, and other "lifestyle" items, as White put it.
White said the store's name came to him one night when he was laying awake.
He and Nord are big Hendrix fans, and both were active with bands when they were in their early 20s,
according to White. He also said he believes Hendrix was "the best guitar player ever."
The partners went with the name because "it grabs you. It doesn't make any sense,

of the largest head shop in Louisville, KY.  My heros are the various authors of the New Testament —
Mark, Luke, John, Peter, Paul and their amenuenses Barnabas, Mark, Luke, etc. Marvin Cox sins greatly 
against the Word of God by repeatedly pointing people to Lew White, in lieu of the authors of the New 
Testament, who do not share his scruples.

How ironic that a major sacred name publication such as YEA newsletter would lean on Fossilized Customs
to come up with enough evidence to debunk the Lunar Sabbath, which is a counter-cultural religion just like
Lew White’s headshop—Electric Lady Land.  There, in mid-town Louisville, KY you will find thousands
upon thousands of hard rock and acid rock albums promoting the most heinous sex crimes and immorality,
even violence against women and constituted authority.  Large posters of vile rock stars are displayed
prominently in idolatrous fashion.  Lew White’s religious books are displayed prominently right next to
cases with 300-400 dollar dope-smoking pipes and paraphernalia.  Sacred Namers who continue to buy
and distribute his books are partakers of his iniquity.  Such are false apostles who have spoken, but YHWH has not sent.
This is truly embarassing to the Name of יהוה! Here we have a witness who has been
 in the store and has witnessed the abominations in his store alongside the books he has authored!
He also has the store open 7 days a week, flagrantly defiling a well known Command
 in the Torah in regard to the Sabbath Day.
We need to ascertain just how long ago Mr. White was involved in this mess...

You may have noticed several references to Electric Ladyland as a 'HEADSHOP'
We weren't all that clear on what a headshop entails, so we looked it up at wiki:

A great headshop in the wonderful Bardstown Road district. They have a great selection of vynil records
from the 60's and 70's. They also have a great selection of cd's. One feature that i love to check out every

their selection of blacklight posters. Electric Ladyland has a very nice assortment of pipes,bongs,bubblers
and various other "accessories." EL carries Salvia Divinorum in varying potencies. They have a decent

Electric Ladyland is your best bet for smoking accessories in the Louisville area. It is a great shop that I

Well folks, this could go on and on, but this was enough filth surfing for us...
Please feel free to dig further if you feel the need, but on top of the fact that Lew White merchandises
and peddles the Name of יהוה on cups and t-shirts, taking dishonest gain from other believers, this
headshop is surely an abomination!
The fact is, that Lew White has been into this wickedness for over 30 years by his own words.
It's not just a simple stumbling into sin or a matter of quick repentance or apology, as this
has been planned and continued sin over many years with full knowledge and no excuse!
Some may think that Lew White may have fallen from the belief, but the evidence collected here
and the evidence pending suggests that he has never been a believer; in fact some of
the products he has been selling for over 30 years can be described as nothing but occultic!

Lew White has fleeced hundreds of thousands of dollars from true believers
by asking for donations to print the newest editions of his book and then
selling the books for profit and keeping both donations and profits which should
be used for ongoing printings. The Torah commands NOT to take increase from
the people of יהוה. He has done this year upon year and no one seems
to have noticed! People who have contacted us have passed on email responses
from Lew or Phyllis rudely rejecting a request for discounts on multiple books
or a single free copy for one who was in desperate need with no money...

We know of several believers who have donated thousands to Lew to
print his books assuming that they would be given at cost, or even free to those in need.
According to his own website, he has also gone into debt through
a mortgage to purchase a building (asking his followers worldwide to foot the bill)
that only a small portion of people can benefit from. This is no different than the
form of Christianity he hypocritically claims to expose...

Some might show some sympathy in that Lew has led many to truth through his books
and this justifies charging for profit and taking unfair gain... This is wrong!
You cannot use lawless means and claim to be doing good. It's no different
than running a brothel to fund a ministry in the Name of יהוה.

It has cut all of us deeply to have to expose Lew White in this way, and heavy of
heart that this is dividing some in the Messianic movement, but as you can see from the
response that despite admitting to OWNING a HEADSHOP and using profts from ROCK MUSIC
and DRUG PARAPHERNALIA for the work of יהוה and MAKING PROFIT from the WORD
Lew still does not know what to repent of. He is afraid to walk away from his wicked dealings
because of his massive debt, yet Scripture suggests it is better to enter the new heavens blind
or lame than to be involved in unrighteousness.
By the way... We are not Jesuits. Just as יהוה divided Yisra'el into two camps in the
wilderness and destroyed those who stood on the side of the wicked, so יהוה is making
a separation of His people. Those who stand for righteousness, and those who make
excuses for abominable behaviour without repentance.
