The
Word commands in regard to sin among believers: “Do
not judge according to appearance, but judge
with righteous judgment.”
Yohanan
7:24 Those
who continue in sin without repentance are Scripturally to be removed
from the assembly. “For
what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do
you not judge those who are inside?
But Elohim judges those who are outside. And put
away the wicked one from among you!” 1
Corinthians5:11-13 This is in accordance
with the Torah. “For
him who does whatever by mistake there is one Torah, both for him who
is native
among the children of Yisra’ĕl and for the stranger who sojourns
in their midst.
But the being who does
whatever defiantly, whether he is native or a stranger,
he reviles יהוה, and that being shall be cut off from among his people.”
Bemidbar 15:29-30 “Do
you not know that a little leaven leavens the entire lump?” 1
Corinthians 5:6 “And
have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather
reprove
them.” Ephesians
5:11 Reproval
must be according to Scripture... In patience. “Proclaim
the Word! Be urgent in season, out of season. Reprove,
warn,
appeal,
with all patience
and teaching.” 2 Timothy
4:2
“Do
you not know that the set-apart ones shall judge the world? And
if the world is
judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest
matters? Do you not know
that we shall judge messengers? How much more, matters of this life? If
then you
truly have judgments of this
life, do you appoint them as judges who are least
esteemed by the assembly? I say this to your shame. Is it so, that
there is not a
wise
one among you, not even one, who shall be able to judge between his
brothers?” 1
Corinthians6:2-5 This is all in
accordance with the Torah. See Shemoth 18:16-26 “Seek out from all the people
able men, who
fear Elohim, men of truth, hating unfair gain.
And place these over
them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties,
and rulers of tens. “And they shall rightly rule
the people at all times. And it
shall be that
they bring every great matter to you, but they themselves
rightly rule every small
matter. Shemoth 18:16-26
Some claim that we are
not to judge yet it
is well known that the Scripture
that reads “judge not” is
speaking of hypocrital judging. “Do
not judge, lest you be judged. For
with what judgment you judge, you
shall be judged.
And with the same measure you use, it
shall be measured to you.” Mattithyahu
7:1-2
Blood is on our hands if we do not warn brother who has strayed
from the way: “When
I say to the wrong, ‘You shall certainly die,’ and you have
not warned
him,
nor spoken to warn the wrong
from his wrong way, to save
his life,
that same
wrong man shall die in his crookedness, and his blood I
require at your hand.” Yehezqel 3:18 “When
I say to the wrong, ‘O wrong one, you shall certainly
die!’ and you have
not spoken to warn the wrong from his way, that wrong one
shall die in his crookedness,
and his blood I require at your hand. But when you have warned the wrong
to turn from his way,
and
he has not turned from his way, he shall die in his crookedness,
but
you have delivered your being.” Yehezqel 33:8-9
Can you see how following the Scriptures to warn a brother in sin is
in essence, LOVE? To save his life from the Judge who will judge at
the end of days. “Brothers,
if anyone among you goes astray from the truth, and someone turns him
back, let
him know that he who turns a sinner from the straying of
his way
shall save a life from death and cover a great number of sins.” Ya'aqob
5:19
HOW DO WE DEAL WITH SIN IN THE BODY OF MESSIAH?
יהושע made it
very clear in straight-forward terms how to deal with a brother who
sins:
“And
if your brother sins against you, go and reprove him, between you and
him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your
brother.
But
if he does not hear,
take with you one or two more, that
‘by the
mouth of two or three witnesses every word might be established.’
And
if he refuses to hear
them, say it to the assembly.
And if he refuses
even
to hear the assembly, let him be to you like a gentile and a tax
collector.” Mat
18:15-17
Be
assured that everyone named on this site has been dealt with in
accordance with this Scripture. Notice יהושע said
that "two or three witnesses"
are sufficient for the matter to be established... Not
every believer in the assembly (the worldwide body of Messiah) has to
confront the one in sin
for themselves before the situation is brought to the attention of the
entire assembly.
Those who accuse us behind this website of dealing unscripturally with
this method of exposure
are in error. Every avenue has been thoroughly exhausted before any
name appears on this site.
What these men are expecting is
for believers to simply turn a blind eye to their sin and greedy ways.
This is not what Scripture commands nor will we stand by to see
fellow believers robbed.
